Baby silk bedding in 100% Mulberry silk
Create a soft and comfortable sleeping environment for your baby with our exclusive baby silk bedding, made from 100% Mulberry silk in 19 momme quality.
The set consists of a duvet cover and a pillowcase, which feel light, smooth, and comfortable against the skin. The silk’s naturally soft surface creates minimal friction, making the bedding an ideal choice for babies with delicate or sensitive skin.
Mulberry silk is naturally temperature-regulating and helps create a comfortable sleeping environment throughout the night. The material feels light and cool when it’s warm, and pleasantly warm when the temperature drops, making the silk bedding suitable for the Nordic climate.
The silk’s elegant sheen and timeless look add an exclusive and calm touch to the nursery. The duvet cover is equipped with internal ties that help keep the duvet in place.
The included silk pillowcase has a smooth surface that creates less friction against the child’s hair and skin than many traditional textiles. The silk pillowcase can also be purchased separately right here.

Silk properties
Mulberry silk has a positive effect on both your skin and your hair. The smooth silk fabric is less likely to absorb moisture from the skin, keeping it hydrated throughout the night. The same applies to the hair, where the silk helps maintain its natural moisture balance. By sleeping on silk, you also avoid frizzy hair, which can potentially lead to split ends.
Silk is temperature regulating
Silk also has a temperature-regulating property, which guarantees that you will have a comfortable temperature in the hot summer heat. If you struggle with sleep difficulties due to warm nights or itching and dry skin, silk is therefore ideal for you. Additionally, silk is known to be anti-allergenic, making it a perfect choice if you have allergies or suffer from asthma.
OEKO-TEX certified
This product is made of mulberry silk and certified with OEKO-TEX, which guarantees that the fabric has been tested for harmful substances and is therefore safe for your health.
How to wash silk?
- Preparation: Start by turning your silk bedding inside out and closing the zipper. Additionally, a laundry bag is recommended.
- Separation: Keep your silk bedding separate from other textiles, especially those with sharp zippers or hard materials that can scratch the silk.
- Temperature: Use cold water to wash silk bedding. Warm water can damage the fibers and cause shrinking or color loss.
- Mild detergent: Use a mild detergent designed for delicate fabrics. Avoid bleach or strong chemicals, as they can damage the silk.
- Hand wash or gentle cycle: You can either hand wash the silk bedding or use a gentle cycle in your washing machine. If using a washing machine, select a delicate program with low spin to avoid stretching or damaging the fabric.
- Rinsing: Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residues. You can repeat rinsing several times to ensure all soap is gone.
- Drying: Avoid wringing or stretching the silk bedding while drying. Instead, gently squeeze out excess water and then let it air dry on a flat surface or hang it on a hanger. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can cause discoloration.
- Ironing: If necessary, you can iron your silk bedding on low heat, preferably on the inside to avoid direct contact with the heat.
With these steps, you can easily keep your silk bedding clean and in good condition!

Cillouettes is a Danish silk universe
Cillouettes was founded when several of our acquaintances and friends of friends suffered from atopic skin, which placed high demands on the textiles that come into contact with the skin. Silk, in particular, is a textile that the skin has always thrived especially well with.
In recent years, people have become aware of the many other benefits that silk provides. Temperature-regulating, antibacterial, and allergy-friendly effects – to name just a few. At Cillouettes, we want everyone to have the opportunity to experience these benefits.
